Stretcher Incident
We had this Firefighter who gave us a hard time. He was just a hoseman. So we held a first aid drill at 9th and University. University was one of the main streets and it was really quite busy and we were in a semi-commercial area.
What we did to him was we took one of the big stretchers off the aerial ladder truck, we strapped him in that thing. Then we took him out and laid him upside down, up against a stop sign at the street corner. All of the people in the traffic going by were honking and waving at him, and he was screaming. We left him out there for about 20 minutes before we came back to let him go. He was docile after that.
