Here is something funny that happened when I was at Station 5. We were cleaning up after a fire, and for some reason I had made the other Engineer mad. So I ran out of the station with him chasing me. The other guys saw what was going on, and realized there was a garden hose coiled up right in front of the station. So they turned the hose on and just stepped back. I ran by, and he saw the water running out of that hose, so he grabbed it and started chasing me with it. But everybody knew what was going to happen. As soon as he got to the 50-foot mark the hose reached the end of its length, and he flew up in the air and landed on his back in the middle of the street. Everyone was laughing so hard, and he was so mad that he wanted to kill me.

The guys then went and got a two and a half gallon bucket, and they filled that up with water and set it out in front of the station. So as he was walking back inside through the big doors, he saw that bucket and he started running after me with it. He threw the water at me, but he missed. And I had to duck, because here comes the bucket!
